Today we wrapped presents. Leo was pretty helpful - Zoe, not so much. Leo wrapped with me for quite some time, speculating how much each person would like what we got for them. Then, towards the end he said sadly, as though he'd been thinking about it for a while, "What if no one gets a present for me?"
Maybe I overdid it with the whole "we don't expect presents, we give because we want to" shpeal. I assured him that he would certainly get at least one present because dad and I had picked a very special one out. My poor sweet boy.
