One Year Ago Today

A year ago today I was nine months pregnant with Leo.  We were just a few days shy of the baby shower my family threw for us.  jb and I attended a consignment sale and bought a bunch of baby clothes that we thought were very gender neutral (because we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl), but then the checkout person said, "Oh, I see you are having a boy!"  I then went home and wrapped my swollen feet in cabbage leaves.  Not a particularly remarkable day - but a sweet memory nonetheless.
