Eye of the Storm

After our busy weekend with Larissa and Maddie visiting we've been taking it pretty easy this week.  We are back to our normal routine, catching up on sleep, doing some grocery shopping, and trying to get back on top of our to do lists.

It's a good thing we've been taking advantage of this down time because tomorrow we are getting a new crop of visitors; My mom, (other) sister, and brother will be in town for the weekend.  So we are in for another whirlwind of activity (possibly with another beach trip!).

So I'm happy to be staying close to home.  Our only big outing this week was visiting jb at work.  Leo has actually been to the office before when he tagged along with jb for some weekend office hours - but it was my first time there.

Clearly, Leo takes after his dad and has a strong work ethic.  First he got some phone calls out of the way, then he made some copies and burned through his email inbox.   After that he earned himself some lunch so we ate a pub around the corner.

That's about as much excitement as we could handle.  We are resting up for the Abi-Aunt-Uncle extravaganza starting in just a few short hours.
